My Maker's Hand

by Douglas L. Bishop on 10/1/2010 08:05

Worldly cares my spirit breaking
Wounded by the words of man
Flawed by scars of my own making
Made whole by my maker’s hand

Perfect is the vast creation
Sculpted like each grain of sand
Earth and sky and my salvation
All shaped by my maker’s hand

Streams of life flow on forever
Sorrows fade as seasons blend
Every teardrop every river
All reflect my maker’s hand

I am as the master made me
Molded me to who I am
When I climb that golden mountain
I will shake my maker’s hand
